River House Bliss

As most of you know, the River House on Fish River is one of our family's favorite places to be. Boat rides, margaritas on the pier, even a little redneck beach... who could ask for anything more? We're usually there every weekend, if for no other reason than to share our loud children with the rest of the family, disturbing their peace. Truly, we are just aiding in their sanctification! I'm posting some pictures of Luke learning to throw the cast net for the first time. Big Daddy patiently showed him how to throw it (he wouldn't allow Michael to show him the ballerina version), and Luke caught on quite quickly. Soon he caught a smattering of pinfish, baby mullet, and even a few shrimp. He was so proud and so were we! He said, with all of the pride characteristic of a Werneth, that HE would catch Daddy's bait so that he could fish. He could also sell bait to get some dollars, he asserted. A country boy can survive! We also celebrated Clara's 3rd Birthday that weekend (you'll see a pic of her with her little sis Jana and Leah on the Barbie Jeep). I'm also posting a pic of Aaron wakeboarding (Heather, the sweet and dutiful wife, was driving the boat that pulled him). We love our Fish River friends!
