Taking the Plunge

Okay, this year I'm going to step out and make my first turkey (I've only attempted a turkey breast in the past). Ya'll feel free to pray for me that Michael's family won't have to fill up on the side dishes instead. At least Joanne always brings a Honey-Baked Ham that is sure to please in case I mess up the bird. I'm attempting Emeril's Brined, Herb Roasted Turkey, which is a little more work, but has rave reviews. Click here to read the recipe. I'm intimidated by the broth and gravy steps the most, when I am supposed to use the giblets and neck bone. Oh my! I covet your prayers!
